yea im debating on putting it in or not. needs some cleanin.
fittipaldi was a family of racers and tuners....i havent seen their **** for sale....so i'm guessing its pretty valuable if you can find a buyer

yea just wish i could find some info on it. gonna steam clean it tomorrow and search for some sliders. i dont wanna pay 2 hunny for sliders.
I say keep it. Even if the sliders cost a bit, you still got the seat for free. It seems to be a pretty good seat as far as functionality goes and it's definitely unique.
UGA: Everybody is laughing at us this year.
never seen one before, looks good though
It reminds me of the old Recaros that wer in the old Jettas. Look around 1988 or so.
Get sliders off any seat that you can cut off (junkyard seat). Then tack weld them on to your seat. Finally, weld a sqare seatbrakcet with mount tabs. That's all that the big aftermarket seat manufacturers do (Recaro, Corbeau, etc.).
Keep it, and then sell it after like 15-20 years. It'l be worth the value.
thanks for the input guys. i just realized u could move the sides into your ribs. pretty cool.
A cookie for the person who finds me some info on it!

Those would look nice in a car thats a little older than your 240 IMO
That seat is named for Emmerson Fittipalti and was a real beast of a race driver in the 80's as far as racing. He was on the leading edge of the tuner market offering aftermarket wheels made by O.Z.for cars back when that was still a forein concept to many. To answer your question, that seat was very expensive when it was new. It probably came out in the late 80's or early 90's so it it is period specific to your car. if you are into nostalgia keep it.
