If they want to be anal, HID on non-HID equipped cars are illegal, does not matter what color it is. 6000k HID is not blue. It is call some sh*t like plasma white. As far as I know, anything over 8k (aka diamond blue) is illegal.

exactly. any aftermarket hid kit is technically illegal. the question is how dumb is the cop that pulls you over
