Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone can tell me about the calibration levels on the police lasers. I can't find any relevant info on the net. I want to know what to compare the calibration number on speeding citations to.
Thanks!

if you were worried about that you could've requested an accuracy check on site when you got the ticket...
yeah make sure they have the license that they are LEGALLY REQUIRED TO HAVE to use a laser or radar. also the thing to here if you ask to see it and they don't show it you get of a ticket thing doesn't work anymore, or so i have heard
You know better; next time will be a ban.
the is more to it than what you all are calling leagal (radar certified). Also know if the streets are new or the agency has just gained jurisdiction of a roadway. D.O.T must approve them for use of radar on that road. Radar is really no good against multiple vehicles. cause there is no way to really tell who is doin what. cause it locks on until it is out of range. thats why you see alot of GSP and Herny Co PD with the laser guns.
