Default v8 Swap for my 280zx?

My engine is jacked and am contemplating either fixing the old one ,buy a new head and some performance pistons, port polish etc....or go with a v8 Swap like alot of Datsun owners do..but dont know any here with experience on em..Need some research..Know one dude with a 350 in his Mk2 Supra and he also has a 350 in a 260z but got it done in Alabama..Need shops here to do it reasonably cheap...Or a member of IA whos had experience with doing the transplant..

a swap of that nature will hardly be reasonably cheap. Motorsport Auto out of califronia sells a kit to help u with the v8 swap. idk their site but u could google it.

That swap is a very common and very easy swap... I know that Peter @ Klobal K used to do some of these but he is no longer... I would say to call John at the 678 number in my sig and speak with him. He has a good bit of domestic/ import performance experience. Tell them Pat sent you..

well, the small block chevy's are usually the transplants... ive seen a few done... maybe, (dont quote me), Balanced performance could do it. they specialize in nissans. that might (?) qualify under that title. Good luck, those can be mean!

    We're doing a Twin turbo LS1 into a S14, not a 280Z but a Nissan.
