clutch or tranny problems in d16y8
ok so i bought a 96 civic ex and there is a problem somtimes wen i get on it,it revs and doesnt move nad i no the throw out bearing is making a wining noise but could this also be my tranny i no the clutch is slipping but could my tranny be fuckin up to
manual transmissions aren't going to slip unless you have grinded the shit out of it...over and over again. If that's the case then you'll be hearing crunching like a hand full of bb's in a blender. You can always pull the drain plug and see how much metal comes out but most likely the only thing that needs to be replaced is the clutch disc and maybe the pressure plate..of course the throw-out bearing too.
gotta be the mentioned items of above...

i wished i could afford an h22 swap but thats not gonna happen soon and im gona buy a clutch next monday and yea its makin a real bad crindin noise and the tranny doesnt make any noises and thanks for the help guys
i got a stock clutch pressure plate and flywheel sittin in my garage if you're interested.
how much and does it include throw out bearing and still in box my dad wont help buy a used one its not buying one its getting it put in im worried about
