    Default ? How can i get the cunterweight off Rx7 13b TII

    I’m doing a engine swap on a TII bought a jdm engine and is automatic it has a counterweight how can I get it off so I can put the flywheel ?

    You have to take the big nut off. I think it is a 52mm, but i will have to look and let you know.

    yeah i did that took off the nut 2 1/2 but is still wont come off on my other engine the flywheel came out easy but the other one is automatic

    Yu have to use a puller to get the counterweight off. A 2-jaw puller can work. If you use some ingenuity, you may also be able to get it loose with a hammer and a prybar, but you have to be very careful where you hit it as not to mar any mounting or sealing surfaces. good luck, and if you really need more help let me know, i may be able to come out and pull it for you.

    Tap the edge of the counterweight with a hammer & it should break loose.
