    Default My $150 Altima

Lets just say hope you don't break a cam.

The car when I first bought it. Valve cover is taken off (has a chunk missing )

    Interior, automatic

    Hmm, thats no good.

Now, lets tear it down some more.

Oh, look what we have here. Knicked pistons. Which means...... bent intake valves.

    Oh wait, its not over.
The timimg area on the block. all kinds of twisted and warped.

    I'll take more pictures later.

damn. doesnt really look worth 150 to me. seems that most importanta panels all have body damage, gonna take some cream to get it runnin,

but this is how projects go, good luck, and have fun.

The body isnt that bad, other than paint and that fender/hood.

The hood from my 96 SE is going to go on this one and I'll be getting a CF hood for my SE.

The guy I got it from had it towed to my shop. It's still sitting at the shop and since I had some time this week I started to tear it apart. I got the bill of sale and the title. My shop has a tow truck so I can have it towed to my house for free.

With every 240sx out there with an sr20 in it, shouldn't it be really easy to get a working ka24de? That has always been the hopes of mine if my girlfriend's car ever breaks down. Plus, it is a truck motor that rarely ever dies, what was this guy doing to that car?

sorry to destroy your hopes, but a 240sx is rwd and an altima is fwd. it is the same motor, but they are not interchangable.
