an Exedy stage 1 is NOT a stock style clutch. They make a Performance replacement oem style model, but the Stage 1 is made to handle more power and torque. The only similarities it has to a stock clutch is that it is a full face sprung hub clutch, which makes for smoother engagement and disengagement than a pucked design. It has a good deal more clamping power than stock. Go with the Exedy stage 1 unless you are planning on making more than 200whp.Originally Posted by Init2winit
