    Default 83 Regal

    so ive got a 83 regal, transmission is shot in it. i found a old rebuilt turbo350 transmission for cheap with no miles on it. it has a 9 inch tailshaft. will it fit in the regal? or do i need a shorter tailshaft? also its bolting on to a 350.
    any advice and help is much appreciated

    was it a V8 car orig? It sounds like a rear end sawp and posibly tranny swap have already been done.

    yes they came with a 305
