Default anybody see a problem with this? welding/ boost/evo-THEORY manifold on honda.

ok. so in my "msut have cheap turbo honda" mindset, and many www.homemadeturbo.com threads later i have pieced together a turbo kit for less than 200$

    the msot important pieces.

i acquired a evo turbo, manifold, wg, o2 housing.

the turbo is twin scroll (meaning that two exhaust ports go to one side of turbo, and two to the other, to make equal exhaust pulses and some other bs (better/ equal/faster spool)

i want to use the twin scroll system, mostly cause ch@dbee said i cant. ( we bet a dollar) ( the bet said i jsut had to use the turbo not manifold ( he said it CAN NOT be used at all..) but im going above and beyond to prove him wrong)

    here is my FIRST IDEA
take a stock honda d series manifold , and chop off the flange (ports for head) and ghetto weld to evo manifold ( i understand theat the arent the same length ect, but i had fixes for that).
    PROBLEM:
manifolds are CAST IRON and it is very hard to weld, nad even harder to get right without cracking.

WHAT I PLAN TO DO NOW:
buy a honda flange (like a shop would buy to make a turbo manifold) and also buy an evo one.
weld small pipes from the honda ports, to the evo ports, then bolt evo flange to evo manifold, and honda flange to head on car. the pipes wouldnt be more than an inch and a half long, but i have ample room in my enginge bay so its no problem anyway.
of course i will have the flanges bolted to heads as i weld the pipes to each one (to prevent warping from the heat)
the only problem i come up with so far is to make sure i have a bracket holding the manifold up, so there wont be too much pressure on any of the welds onthe small pipes.

any thing i didnt cover please ask, or any potential problems you see.

    paint mock-up
