A VPC will make the "recovery" like shit on a DSM. I have one on my car and put installed dozens of them on other DSM's and they all do the same thing. If you were gonna use a VPC, you would need another piggyback to make the driveability bearable. Usually a SAFC will suffice, but the problem with that is that the "decel air" function doesnt work and you can enrich the fuel for when you're letting off the throttle. What I've found is that the DSMLink works best when used in conjuction with the VPC. It makes a shitload of power and the car drives like stock (not withstanding all the other bullshit you may have done to your car!). A Maft would probably do the trick, but I've personally had more luck with VPC's. I personally love the VPC, and think it works great. They just take a bit longer to dial in when you're using other systems like DSMLink, and SAFC's.
