map sensor
does anyone know if there is a way to bypass the map sensor to make the car idle normal? my map sensor is bad and i cant get it till next week and i was wondering if there was anyway to wire it or bypass it where the ecu will think the map sensor is working properly

nope. that's a critical component to the engine management of your car. based on the pressure it sees it sends a different voltage signal to the ecu. based on that voltage and rpm the ecu sees it adds the appropriate fuel and timing to work your car. without that working correctly your car will not run right and there is no way for you to "rig" something up to fool it.

are you forsure its your map sensor. hondas dont really like to run much or at all with them being bad.

yeah im sure i threw a cel and i got codes 3 and 22. my cel will come on and go off every once in a while
