how often should i change my oil?

i have an integra gsr now, i just changed the oil with mobil synthetic, i was wondering how often do i need to change it?

some say with synthetic you can do it every 5000-6000 miles, but ive heard others tell me i should still change it every 3000 miles

when i worked at honda i changed my oil all the time between 2000-3500. but being without working there that can be expensive ide say every 3000

every 2k if you drive hard or every time you run at the track. for moderate driving and 'getting on it' every once in a while 3k is fine with a 4k max.

Full Synthetic lasts a lot longer than conventional though, I'd say if you do a lot of hwy driving change it at 5-6K, if you drive it hard/short trips/race then 3K.

I use the same thing and i change mine out every race... So after every 20 or 30 miles!!!

i never run synthetic.

I run Castrol 10-40 and replace it every 3000 miles

3k miles. synthetic lasting longer than fossil oil is a myth, neither oil breaks down anytime near 3k miles, the reason you change is that the oil gets carbon in it from the combustion process, which synthetic wont change a bit. i change mine with castrol or mobil 5w30 every 3k miles.

I change mine every 2500, or anytime after I go to the track.

2500 is also really easy to remember. do it at 2500mi,5000mi,7500,10000, and so on.
