Default problem w/ 89 crx si

lately my crx has been blowin heavy smoke...light grey.
ive been told it maybe the head gasket but im not sure...

    heres whats i spotted...

    - theres oil in the spark plug chamber(or whatever its called)
    - oil or sum kinda black stuff in my radiator reservior(sp?)
    - burns oil... close to 5-6 quarts per month.

i have knowledge of cars but im clueless about this.
so can some1 tell me if this the headgasket or worse?

its your headgasket. if you have oil in your antifreeze then its your headgasket. chances are you have antifreeze in your in your oil too. easy fix. take you bout 2 hours.

    head gasket or cracked block/head.

    is it overheating?

Sounds like you may be better off rebuilding that engine. The oil consumption is way off, i.e. a healthy engine shouldn't burn mcuh, if any, oil.

The most immediate problem sounds like a headgasket. It could have blown in between an oil passage and a coolant passage, thus explaining the mixing of oil and coolant. Check your oil, if it looks like a chocolate milkshake, then stop driving the car.
