    Default HOW MUCH FOR REBUILD

    How much for a Turbo Rebuild on a SR20 T-28??? Would it be cheaper to buy a different one or get it rebuilt

    By the time its rebuilt u can usually pick up one for around the same price maybe 50-100 more.. Its just a matter of what u want really. If u buy the rebuild kit and then take it somewhere to be rebuilt its usually cheaper.. But its actually not to hard to rebuilt urself.

    For the diyers' it is about 100USD.

    However, you have to make sure because nobody has yet make a rebuild kit for ball bearing turbos. If you have a ball bearing unit, you are out of luck. Rebuilding a turbo is nothing more than take it apart, clean everything up, replace seals, and put it back in order. If you ask a shop to do it, it will cost around 400USD

    ball bearings cant be rebuilt , it will cost more than just replacing the internals or just buying a whole new turbo altogether...

    you can get one off zilvia for around 400 bux shipped...i got my S15 A/T BB t28 for 400

    a S15 M/T t28 will run about 800 though...
