    Default Miata Owners...... unite??

    Who here has Miatas. I've seen a couple for sale but no one seems to post any real info about theres. I just got a 95 with some mods. White MazdaSpeed seats, some the interior has been painted white to match the wheels (15" Racing Hearts) and the seats. Has intake and Jackson Racing exhaust. Also has the headlight conversion so no more flip up headlights. I need to get some pics so that this thread wont be quit as lame, I know.

    So, I know about gomiata.com and flyinmiata.com. Are there any message boards I should know about or any good local stores that carry a lot of Mazda parts?

    Well.. first off... im Mike and i have had 3 Miatas now... a full built 96 (supercharger,suspension,paint and body, drivetrain,rollbar, and so much more) then i rolled it.... you may have seen/heard about it at one time.. it was white with red wheels... like in my avatar... but all thats left of it is in my sig

    My 2nd 96 does not really count.. so i'll skip it.

    My current Miata is a 99, with suspension, supercharger, clutch, lsd, and a bit more.... and getting more soon (intercooler,header and 9psi of boost).

    I'd like to see some pics of the car1!! Especally the wheels and the seats! The local Miata guru's are the guts at R*Speed over in Marietta.... or for used stock parts, Mazmart (Paul)... i have much expirence with both places. Theres a world of knowlege at miata.net ...... almost everything you can imagine.

    +1 for miata owners. black on black on black '94 for me. i'm rockin drop tops suspension from the '96 (which btw mike, is friggin awesome, althrough I'm contemplating getting a 5/8ths sway for the rear if i can't get it tightened up just a little more) got a few other goodies on the car as well

    And if you want to save $$ on the high prices Mazmart will charge for used parts...just email me, I always have lots of used Miata parts.

    Speaking of cheap used miata parts, anyone have/know where I can get a Center Dash faceplate and a center console. Need both in black. OEM just cost too much, and some clean used parts would be fine. I got a black meter hood off ebay but even those prices tend to go a bit high. The guy that had the car before me was alright on the performance side on things but its obvious that he has some Rice in his ancestory, cuz he had those 3 above mentioned parts painted white..... You'll see as soon as I get pics from Simon's computer. Anyways, so I need those parts for my interior to start looking half decent again.

    I just purchased Miata #2.

    #1 was a 1991 red with just a few things...header, intake, exhaust, springs, wheels, and few subs in the trunk (7 8" woofers)

    #2 is a 92 model, white with black top/interior. So far, I have 15" Axis rims with Cooper tires, K&N intake, and new slotted rotors and snazzy brake pads. Just something to drive everyday, and the dually gets HORRIBLE gas mileage.

    I would like the OEM ashtray if anyone has one...

    (and need a new clutch ASAP!!!)

    The center dash radio surround can be had new for $70
    Used ones bring $50 all day long...I can't keep them around. Its the number one requested part for a Miata. Best bet is to buy new.

    Meter hoods are high demand too, probably #2 on the list. Used bring $50-75

    Yeah, well droptop has offered me his console and faceplate from his rolled 96 so Im waiting to hear back from him. I did buy a meter hood off ebay, I just was wanting some locacl deals cuz I hate waiting on shipping.

    meter hoods are in demand because people dont know how to remove them properly i took mine in and out many times and the car sat in the sun a lot and i never had any problems... mine sold very quickly too...yay.

    I do not own a Miata but have some friends that do. We have built one that is a blast to drive. It is the first black one. Since the pics we have put a little smaller turbo on for better response. It still make 270whp daily w/cat and passes emissions. This is on a 140k+ mile stock motor with only bigger injectors and link management. The silver car is SC and is now widebody. We will have the wheels on it soon (18x10.5 on the rear ) The last two both have the FM2 kit.
