    Default What is DA Tranny code

    I have a b18a1 and my tranny code a1 1034524 but like when im on the interstate i can be in 5th gear and goin like 60-70 at 3500 every one keeps telling me they dont think its a ls tranny so i would like to kno what kinda tranny is it then

    If you look at where the transmission meets the engine there should be markings of what type it is. Example: YS1

    it sure isnt a cable B16 transmission because in my B16 crx i was at 5000 rpm at 80 mph in 5th gear.

    the person who owned it previously probably had the gears changed. because thats longest geared ls tranny. just my

    on my tranny it does say anything but a1 i kno where you are suppose to check at but thas all it say it doesnt say ys1 or s1

    If so, it can be a JDM 90-93 Integra XSi or 92-92 Integra RS/LS/GSR

    B17A1
    VTEC
    Found in:
    1992-1999 Integra GS-R (DB2)
    Displacement: 1608 cm³

    hey...I just googled and thats what I found. See for yourself. Some of the engine specs were NON-US models, soooo ?????
