    Default HARD TO START WHEN COLD??BOOSTED

    I HAVE A BOOSTED GSR/HYBRID TUNED ON CHROME GOLD @ MAINSTEAM PERFORMANCE AND IT RUNS FANTASTIC I COULDNT ASK FOR ANYTHING BETTER. DONT HAVE ANY REAL PROBLEMS.JUST WONT ****ING START WHEN COLD HAVE TO BUMP IT OVER 3 TIMES THEN WHEN IT CRANKS IT IDLES ROUGH TIL WARM WHAT COULD BE MY PROBLEM???

    truthfully...i'd let them figure it out..as far as idle..it could be the FITV(i think thats what its called)

    IM NOT SAYING ITS MAINSTREAMS FAULT AT ALL.. IM JUST LETTING IA KNOW THAT THE CAR IS TUNED PROFESIONALY SO THAT I DONT GET THE RESULT OF NOT BEING TUNED IS THE PROBLEM

    im not saying its their fault either, but i mean how long has ur car been boosted since you've had this problem. they are probably use to having this problem occur and know exactly how to solve the problem

    Thick oil or do you have HUGE injectors? Cause my friend has the same problem when he first turns the car on it takes a while to get enough fuel to his injectors cause he has big injectors...

    If your fuel maps are tuneable depending upon temperture, your cold start maps need to be reset to except more fuel below a certain temp. and adjust the values all the way to at least 100 degrees. That will garunteed fix your problem.

    K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.

    give me a call. thought i had it set, but the car is always warm when i get to mess with it.

    if there is a time you can drop it off overnight to where we can leave it on the dyno i can look at it while it's truly cold.

    give me a call and we can set it up.
