Okay, I got my alternator checked and I charged my battery, but for some reason my stupid battery light is still on. And I think it might die on me again like it did before because it got to the point where I had to jump the car and if I turned the lights on when I disconnected the jumper cables, the car turned off...

Any suggestions on what the heck is wrong?
