    Default tranny jerk???

    my auto tranny jerks when i put it into drive or reverse when its cooler outside, but once the enigne gets some heat shifts like butter... any ideas???

    it depends. Could be that your tranny is on its way to heaven. The pressure isn't consistent while changing gears.

    hmm... the weird thing is once the engine gets some heat it shifts smoother than my moms 06 accord

    auto trannies can be a nightmare when you run into problems. A lot of people overlook getting the fluid flushed. Either way it shouldn't shift rough when cold.

    well thanks for the help, im going to get the flush and change the filter and see how it goes, hopefully the dealership will be buying me a new tranny

    wow this thread title kind of makes me wanna stay away from it.

    Like he said...
    It's usually a fluid issue with jerking though.

    Hope it doesn't have to be replaced.

    the fluid is "thicker" when colder so it creates more line pressure in you transmission giving you a firmer shift. change with the correct fluids and change the filter
