Default Few questions to ask about a '94 GSR I'm looking at

    http://atlanta.craigslist.org/car/430909472.html

First off, it has 160k miles. Are there any usual maintenance that usually needs attention? Also, it has a cracked windshield, does anyone know how much it would cost to replace?

The guy is pretty eager to sell it and it is the color I like. He had it listed for $4500 but said he would sell it for $3600 when I talked to him. It wouldn't be too hard for me to get a loan to buy it, but I wanted to see if anyone had anything to say first.

As far as whether or not to trust the guy, just use your best judgement. Dont' get caught up in the excitement of buying a gsr for 3600.

Windshield should cost you no more than about $250 to replace. TEST drive the car first. You should always have the compression checked aswell...

Yea, get a PPI. It may cost a little but its better then buying a lemon.

3600$ is kind of cheap. 160K is not that bad for a 94. and i have had a integra windshield repalce for under 200$ but have some one that knows about them go with you to look at it. and ask about what maintenance has been done like timeing belt, waterpump, clutch

only thing to look for is the timing belt..thats the biggest thing, also chk the radiator it may have the infamous radiator crack at the top..other than that..u should be good to go. as far as the windshield..get full coverage on the car and get it replaced for free...GET IT NOW. i almost bought mine for $3500...but then the guy sold it to me for $2k
