yup...because the air is cooler and denser, which allows your motor to make more power (to make a long story short). that's the purpose behind cold air intakes, intercoolers for boosted cars...etc. to make the air coming into your motor as cool/dense as possible

yeah i was driving the stang saturday morning to put up some signs for something and it was cold as hell,it did feel like it was pulling harder..
My supercharged Integra LOVES cold day/nights. The Eaton blower puts out so much heat that when you get a 40 degree day the car goes nuts.

In theory, yes, it does have more hp and therefore better acceleration and more "pull".
Usually the difference is pretty minimal, but if you're drag racing and that .05 seconds counts, then it's all the difference you need.. if you're ever waiting in line to do 1/4 mile runs at the track, you'll notice people with their hoods popped between runs.. same idea.

^^True... in 95% of cars, the intake setup isn't a good enough one for it to matter, and the car isn't tuned to make the max use of the colder, denser air.

No matter what when the valve opens more air will be able to fill the cylinder, go-kart or Ferrari. That's how much of the "gains" you read on a BS parts are made, by heat-soaking the stock car before runs.

I hit peak psi around 16 psi during hot months. In cold, I now hit steady 18-19psi. So yeah,definitely pulls harder in boost.

That's what I keep trying to explain about west coast dyno's and the higher numbers people produce out there...dry air compared to the normally hot and humid southeast with the exception of this time of year. Fall in North Georgia is ideal weather for more performance, it may be minimal but WOT sounds and feels better and alot of times it's the differance between chirping a gear and spinning so you know it there must be some gains. (not just bc colder asphalt means less traction either)
On a highly tuned vehicle some adjustments may need to be made to get full benefit but on a relatively stock one that's the job of the air flow/air temp/air pressure sensors and it should adjust for it just fine...

I've been living in GA for a year now, im originally from rhode island....the weather up north east was much denser and much much cooler in the summer and winter compare to down here....i notice the difference on the numbers people were hitting at the track with way much better performance upgrades then my car, back up north at the New England Race Track in NH, i ran 2 times and hit 14.0 and 14.1 on my stock gsr swap in a 93 eg......and b16 swaps were doing mid 14's to high 14's....honest to god too........so yeah depending on the weather and enviorment u live in it really matters...why u think people put ice bags and use nos to spray down on their car intake manifold or intercooler....to keep it from being too hot...and to give it that instinct cool air flow for their vehicles to perform....one thing...earlier morning like at 4 or 5 in the morning....before the heat starts to rise, warm your car and take it out for a spin and compare the difference when in the afternoon......

Gas formulas are changed depending on the climate but obviously the more air that's pushed in the engine the more fuel that's being injected.
When I lived in vegas it was crazy, during the summer all the evo's and sti's were hiding. Then the winter came, and the turbos came out and dominated all the V8's
