    the one in the cat is the one i replaced ... i guess its the secondary ... where is the eld located ???

    It's not the ELD, it's that sensor. OBD1 sensors have 2 wires, OBD2 have 4...two being for the built-in sensor heater and that connection is being read as open thus causing the code.
