    Default engine swaps for a 88 prelude?

    a buddy of mine is lookin at getting a 88 prelude but it has a bad motor...
    and wanted to know what you can swap into those..?
    would an h22 work?
    any help would be great thanks

    Yes an H22 can be made to work but im sure it's not too easy, it probably also has to be the 92-96 obd1 h22a. There was a prelude the same model youre talking about at nopi with a turbo'd h22a that won the 4 cylinder forced induction class on the dyno...575hp. On preludepower.com they'll have a lot more info. on this.

    yeah only one i know of is a h22a4 swap search automotivefourums.com or teaminterlude.com should help you out a great deal you can even search the cars for sale section on here. A while back a guy was trying to sell one that had a h22 in it.
