    Default Coolant connecting pipe question

Hey does any one know if they d15b1 and d15b7 connecting pipe from the thermostat to the water pump are interchangeable? I seem to have a leak from where my connecting pipe connects to my water pump...

I figured that...would it be possible for me to just silicone seal it instead or would I have to get a new O ring?

BTW, I've never took one of those out so umm would it be easier to just take the water pump off and put it on that way? Because it seems kind of stupid to take out the whole thing when I can just take the water pump off and do it that way...besides, I have to redo my timing too..

^Just trying to make sure that is a better way to do it...

you have to take the pipe off to do it........... there are 2 10mm bolts and some coolant lines and it comes out...
