    i am just here to praise gm on their production of gm synchromesh transmission fluid. i put quart in and it did wonders.....

    brian! whats up man? yeah i heard to put this stuff in there and my shifting is smoother and 2nd does not grind anymore. i put a quart of synchromesh and about 1/2 quart of mobil 1 synthetic 10w-30

    i wouldn't suggest mixing them but whatever works i guess. There's two differant formula's of the syncromesh at the GM dealership, think one is for higher temperatures but can't remember...

    Supposedly the Pennzoil Synchromesh is the exact same thing for 1/2 the price. You can get it in 5 gallon containers for $100 http://oilstore.stores.yahoo.net/pensyn5gal.html

    I've got a qt sitting next to my computer for when I get my car back. Mixing it with Redline lightweight shockproof and Castrol Hypoy C.
