    Default QUESTION on 91 7 SUSPENSION, EXAUST ect>>

    i just recently got a 91 rx7 it has factory fog lamps (i hear this is rare), power everything, N/A.

    first what is the model of this car it is not a GTU or anything like that as i have owned a GTU in the past ( non power options ect) i have just started the research on these cars and wanted some help form you guys.

    ok second i am looking at replacing the factory exaust and suspension, i have been looking at the RACING BEAT website and am thinking of buying several of the items off the site. anyway i will be needing new shocks and was wondering what would be good for a daily driver that i want to handle well. should i go with the adjustiable shocks form KONI or TOXICO or just the basic non adjustiable and what is the difference (other than they are adjustiable) what exactly does the adjustiability do for the car (does it just make it easier to raise and loer the car at will)......??????

    Adjustables are nice but only if you know when to adjust them. YOu would probably be just fine with the Koni's and some Racing Beat springs. Can't go wrong with that combo. Check all of your bushings. Odds are that most of them are shot. Energy Suspension makes a good replacement set.

    You can't beat the RB exhaust. It is excellent.

    sounds like you have a GXL. i never heard its rare to have fogs ive had to GXLs and both had fogs?? i have taken them out though. i have koni adj. with racing beat 1 inch lowering springs and racing beat sway bars. i have all of mine set on firm (they adj from soft to firm. soft was just about like stock but a little stiffer and firm is like a go cart you feel every bump). the front driver side adj. screw (where you put the knob on to adj.) broke so its forever firm till it blows (for some reason it locked up and wouldnt turn so i tried some vise grips and it broke ). the car handles like its on rails though (also have RT615 azenis, cant beat these tires!!). this is/was a great setup for my first strut/spring choice. im looking toward some tein, jic, or silk roads coil over next. exhaust wise i have dual N1's on this car and had GT spec on my other. i prefer single cause its louder and throws bigger flames . thats just personal prefence. good luck with the car and if you have any troubles try teamfc3s.org there real good on info and i have heard rx7club.com but never been there.

    yeah i looked at rx7club and found it a little difficult to get through but i only spen about 2 min there. i have not checked out teamfc3s.org i must go do that i have seen you post it on more than one time int he past....and as far as the fog lamp thing goes it is just something someone said, i could careless to tell the truth, just something i was told........thanks fo the help.

    i am looking at the racing beat
    sway bars
    coils
    header and full muffler system
    and i will prolly go with the KONI or TOXICO non adjustiable for simplicity
