    Unhappy cracked cylinder head

Hi i have a 91 240sx with the stock KA .Today i got a call from the mechanic saying i have a cracked cylinder head. He said he filled it with liquid glass but he dont know how longs its gonna hold up. My question is what would be my best option. I was thinking to get it replaced but would i have to rebuild the motor when i do this? How much would labor be? Would i be better off just getting a new motor? Any help is VERY much appreciated. Oh and it is dohc. Thanks

You could probably find a dohc ka in decent condition for cheap, and just pay to have it swapped. Thats what i would do.

get a helms manual. if you have a decent set of tools you can do it yourself. new KA they are like 350 bucks cause no one wants them LOL

find a KA head, if the rest of the engine is ok just swap the head, its not a big deal.

its all good, you shouldn't need too many tools, i don't touch 240's much anymore and only had my KA for 6 hours lol. so i couldn't tell ya exactly shouldn't be too hard, just go ahead and get a new VC gasket and head gasket.
