If it's not VSS, it may be your distributor acting up. My tach went poof one day on my del Sol (before the GSR swap), but the car was running fine.. no CEL or anything. Threw an extra distributor on that I had laying around and, upon startup, tach was back. Don't know why or how it works... my friend Kelly is the one who told me to put the dizzy on.

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

"if your VSS was bad, you would be seeing a code 15 on your ecu... and there would def. be a CEL.

especially since it's an OBD2 vehicle
    *edit...
whoops, i gave you the code for obd0 - obd1 VSS...

you would be seeing a p0500 or p0501 code on the obd2 reader.

Thats whats confusing. But like I said I have a standaolne so I don't know if that is affecting it. I heard from a few people that they have Not had cels yet when they replaced the vss everything started working again.
