BTW, the major advantage of the K24A2 is that it has a head very similar to the K20A2, with true DOHC 3 rocker VTEC, not the bullshit that comes on the K20A3, K24A3, etc....

the only difference in the head is that the k24a2 head has a coolant passage built into the IM, and the K20A2 doesnt. Thats why hondata makes a kit to put a RBC (jdm K20A type R) intake manifold on a K24A2. The kit is like a thick gasket with a outlet built in to clamp a hose to for the coolant.

but i thought the differences between them also was because .. out of the rest of the k24's.. the tsx has some shit called throttle by wire.. the other k24s dont have.. but iono .. i'm no professional in the k world.. just yet..

well that has nothing to do with the performance of the engine. Its just how the throttle is controlled (and I think it eliminates the TPS).

The main performance differences between the K24A2 and other K24A's is that:
    1) the K24A2 has higher compression (10.0:1)
    2) the K24A2 has true 3 rocker VTEC on both intake and exhaust.
