Sounds like you are dumping extra fuel into the exhaust (not burning it all). Not sure if safe mode would do that on that bike, but you will need to check to make certain that your ignition system is properly working (spark plugs and coils). You might want to take it into a shop to be checked.
That sounds like a good idea. Um around how much would that be?
