    Default AEM F/IC

Has anyone tried the AEM Fuel / Ignition Controller yet?

I haven't heard anyone talk about it yet. I did a search here and couldn't find anything (unless I typed in the wrong search string).

I'll be doing a KA-T, and this is what I'm leaning towards.

Ah, so basically no one wants to be the guinea pig? lol

Also, while looking at the AEM FIC forums, someone eliminated the use of a MAFS (converted it to MAPS).

Also seems that they got it working on 89-03 Nissan Skyline GT-Rs.

looks like same thing as safc, advances/retards timing to control fuel. not best way to do it, but decent for small increments

Can you do fuel AND ignition with the safc? I thought the safc just did fuel, which was the reason people do MSD BTM + SAFC(2).

Sorry, I dont have experience with neither.

I have the full AEM standalone on my Mustang, and a friend of mine has the full standalone on his Supra. I like the full standalones a lot. Very easy to work with and tune.

not sure if that one truly does fuel or just messes with ignition to control fuel

true standalones/tuned ecus only way to do fuel without messing with ignition that ive known of up to now. you can get a enthalpy tuned ecu for $500 flat, tuned for all your specs, free reburns when you mod later. 10x better than a piggy back
