That's hot. How much boost was he running? I think the Stratus coupe is a better alternative to the V6 eclipse. It looks better, if it's slightly heavier. It's everything the Avenger should've been
K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.
ive changed spark plugs and wires on that car and will never do it again
I think the Stratus coupe basically is the Avenger...runs on a stretched Eclipse platform, right?Originally Posted by blackshine007
I like them...very stylish.
Easy as pie. You have to do it about 3 or 4 times. The one I will never do anything as far as belts go is anything 4 cylinder with and a chrysler name or association to it. The Minivan isn't that bad, but that's my limit.Originally Posted by BenefitX

That looks like the same single cam V6 that was in my Stealth I had, the plugs in that weren't that hard at all, but a pretty neat car, no the less....Originally Posted by BenefitX

I have a 1st gen strat with the 2.5v6. Same exact motor minus the displacement. I hate the spark plug and wire changes. You have to remove the upper intake manifold just to get to the plugs. The back 2 bolts are an absolute bitch.
It took me & Nitro hours upon hours to change my plugs & wires. Those 2 back bolts were an absolute nightmare to reach, remove, and reinstall. The really messed up thing is, 2 weeks later my crank position sensor went out & the upper intake manifold had to be removed again![]()

A 14mm ratcheting wrench FTW. Or was it a 12mm? I forget. I have small hands so I can get into smaller spots with ease.Originally Posted by Nomad!
