it's not robbing any power when it's not on. maybe 1 horse if that! it's been 90+ for 25+days straight wtf. second, most cars automatically kick off the compressor when the car's at wide open throttle anyways. if yours doesn't then when you want to go fast, just press the ac button to turn off the compressor. third, i'm pretty sure you're not allowed to run your car at the track with the ac on, as the condensation that drains out from your evaporator/blower box will get the track wet and mess it up as well as make it unsafe. keep your ac. if you think cutting your ac belt will miraculously make your car fast then wake up, the car's slow....in a nice way =] there are much better ways to get power than making your car unbearable in the summer. your girlfriend will appreciate this advice, you can thank me later
