    Default Scratched Windshield.....any options?

Ok...so my DA came with worn and coming off the arms wiper blades...these I have of course replaced but the windshield is damaged...it has slight scratches pretty much the entire wiper range and is ok until it gets dark and then street lights and headlights put like a 1000 glares in my face, its horrible. Are there any options aside from having the windshield replaced? Wax, some sort of glass filler? Thanks all

No, you can't fix scratches in your front windshield. Permanent

that is kinda what I was thinking....was hoping there was a filler that would help it some...even if i had to apply it every now and then until the money for a windsheild fell into my hands

a filler? eh never heard of that, but you CAN in FACT polish out small, light scratches and scuffs in your windshield, BUT! if its a deep scratch you can feel then take to a pro for that ish lol

Most places will tell you to get a new windshield, because even if they have to polish it, it wont have the same clarity as a new one and could distort the view. This is what I have been told by several windshield people, because I am in the same boat as you.

Word on the street says USE A HAMMER to buff out the cracks.

This isn't the worst summer I've had around Savannah.
Parris Island '01 - now that was one hell of a summer.
