car alarm
Is there any way to turn off the car alarm? fuse,anything easy? i have shaved handles and dont use the unlock/lock honda remote anymore..and sometimes when i put the key in the ignition the alarm goes off..i had to run into the house and find the remote..finally i keep it in the car so when it does off i can turn it off real fast.
but its annoying as hell and loud..any ideas?
OEM alarm should have a valet mode and the cars manual should explain how to turn it off, otherwise swing by the dealer and have them show you. GL

There should be a fuse if you have aftermarket.

If by chance it is aftermarket, you should have a valet switch or button ....even many OEM are like this...turn on ignition, press and hold button or flip switch, turn ignition back off. Car is now in valet mode. Its sounds to me like this may be OEM though and it may or may not have a valet button.

yea its OEM alarm..but it just happens randomly.it sets itself sumtimes..it hasnt went off the past 2days..but its annoying when it does..and i dont want to wake the neighborhood at 6am.lol
what year? Accord?
