    Default crx key question

i lost my only key to my 89 crx. in the past i lost the key to my 96 civic but all i had to do was take my title and vin # to a honda dealership and theyd make me another key. but when i went to Nalley Honda .. they said they couldnt make me a key cuz of the year, that id have to hire a locksmith to come out.
is this true or is nalley just bein lazy or what? the cheapest deal a locksmith has made me is $120. when i had a key made at nalley for my ek, it only cost 35 bux if i remember correctly. 35 beats 120 anyday

possible, because here at nissan most key codes before 1995 have been kicked out of the computer, so we often have to say either lock smith or key cylinder assy
You only live once, maybe twice if you use the e-brake!

I don't know how much it cost for your car, but I got a brand new cylinder key kit for my 97 civic from Gwinnett Place Honda for $83 walked out, even better than Honda Parts Connection.
