    Default transmission question

    i believe it's the transmission but i'm not for sure. it's an automatic transmission. when i take off from a redlight, you can feel it shift and a loud thump. i know it's an automatic but i can still feel it. and when i get it above 4 on the rpms, it starts making a noise like its hitting something.

    does anyone know what's wrong? or can point me in the right direction?
