    Default oil preference?

    so im going to change my oil saterday,and woundering if yall had a preference of the wieght and brand? i was thinking going with the Royal purple?

    I've heard of that oil but I've never ever seen it..Lol. I just Mobil1 Fully Synthetic 5W-30. Don't know what else to use...Lol

    i always got like jiffy lube to do it..but i just hate other people messing with my car..so im getting to the DIY..so i was JW what other people use or reccomend

    I've been putting Mobil 1 in with K&N filters. One of these days I'd like to get some Motul.

    I use Royal purple, its great stuff. But unless you're putting it into a higher performance engine (Turbo, high compression, ect.) that would actually benefit from it, I wouldnt recommend dropping the 7-8$ per quart... Mobile is more affordable and works great too.

    Oil weight also depends on the application, typically youll want to use a thicker blend in the summer and a thinner blend in the winter.
