I may be wrong but ive heard that most cars with power stering, the ps shuts off after a certain speed like 40mph or something like that.. so if thats the case removing the ps really wont make mu of a difference while at high speeds.. also how much more control would you get over your car by removing your ps i mean majority f the people on the road have power steering and they drive in excess of 50mphs constantly... in any case i thinnk removing powersteering is a worthy weightreduction if your running your car at the track constantly and are making enough power to actually benefit from the change. other than that ,imo, its just a ricer excuse to make themselves feel like they are actually driving a race car..Originally Posted by -SkInNy-
