Even for "nothing real crazy" you are going to get fairly deep in time/money. Even if you stick to NA-T you will need to be prepared to swap the tranny if you are making any kind of decent power. Does 6-10K for 350-400rwhp seem worth it? Maybe. Maybe not. I personally think boosted IS300s are one of the best packages out there, but it's nothing to just jump into. As mentioned before take some time on IS.NET to read through some of the members experience with boost and what they had to do to get at what power level they are at with decent reliability.
