Don't know how much difference it is on your car, but I did changed a ball joint on my friend's accord recently. Go to advance auto part and rent the ball joint press tool kit. It comes in a big mold plastic case. I think they want $150 to put down for the tool, then after you return it in good condition, they will give you back the money.
