well on fathers day it died and turned out to be a bad battery. then I got a new battery and rode it and all of a sudden some wires burned when I was riding. they turned out to be the stator wires, so I fixed that and now it doesn't charge correctly. I may also need to recharge my battery cuz I killed it after those wires burned

get your a battery tender jr. I had my bike die on me from using the Highs too much in city (stop go) traffic. Its kinda BS that it did but what can you do. The Battery Tender keeps the battery maintained at 13v and fully charged at 14v i believe. If that is the only problem. If you replaced the battery and wires you shouldn't be having problems unless a wire is grounding itself out somewhere on your bike.

Like I said I'm not too good at this superbike thing so maybe someone more experienced will tell you the real problem.

    So true.

I've also heard the battery doesn't charge until getting over 3k.

Sounds like your regulator is bad.
