safc2's are great investments, i had made 400 with my safc2 (400.2whp to be exact), before i went power fc. the problem with safc's though is they can ONLY adjust air/fuel. which is fine to run more boost safely, switch mafs, switch injectors/turbos, etc, but you can pick up a shit ton more power throughout your powerband if you can do other things like adjust timing, that's why stand alones (such as aem ems) fuckin rules, especially ones that data log. but if you're looking to be able to turn up the boost aka more power, and you want your air/fuel ratio's safe so you can do so, then yeah $200ish for an safc2's a great investment.

it's one thing though to have 400 horse from 6500 to 7300 redline, it's another to have 400 horse from 5500 to 7300, same with torque...i was looking at this guy's dyno of a fully built sr with the same turbo doing 315 ft lb's max torque at 5300 rpm, and i got 350 ft lb's at 3700 rpm.

bottom line , you can have the best parts, but if your tune/tunability sux, you'll get beat by someone with crap parts and a good tune. it's all about the tune.
