I live in augusta, trying to find someone who won't nickle and dime me, put on parts I told them not too, and will work with non-oem parts. figured atlanta must have a good mechanic or two. I may need clutchwork soon.
thank in advance.

Or bring it to an Acura dealership.... It is basically just a Honda... But a gorgeous one though!

I told him to leave the exhaust alone. when I came to pick it up it had a stock exhaust on it (the one I had was a 1 of a kind dali prototype) and an extra 1200 on my bill. when I asked for the exhaust back they said they threw it away.
second time I was there I needed to have some wires soldered onto my starter. 4 hours after I left the wires came off again.
the third time I was there my clutch slave cylinder needed to be replaced (should be like $60) he replaced the master, slave, pipe a and b. granted, its a good idea to replace those, but I never got an explaination. then I made it about a quarter mile from the dealership before I lost all clutch pressure and had to pull into a parkinglot. the lines weren't bled at all, so I had to sit there pumping the clutch for 15 minutes (good thing I allways carry DOT3 with me) before I could even get back into 1st gear. now a month later, I'm still bleeding bubbles out of my line and still have a leaky slave cylinder.
every time I call, the guy is either at lunch, in a meeting, on vacation, or sick. I've never spoken with the guy ever. he does crappy work. he nickle and dimes me. he takes too long. and over all he just doesn't seem to care at all about the car. When you take an NSX to get worked on by a certified NSX mechanic, you expect him to at least get a little excited about the car and not treat it like a 6 year old saturn sl1.
the worst part is that people say he is the best (only) NSX tech in the area.
so yeah, now I'm having some clutch issues, and some day soon I'd like to supercharge, and to me its worth it to drive to atl.
I'll have to check these guys out though. do they have a website or phonenumber?
point blank if you took it to a acura dealership and they did stuff without you telling them the work should have either been free or i would have made them buy me a new exhaust sorry to tell you but the guy you were dealing with was just sorry as hell thats not good business at all. they were just taking advantage of you because you drive a nsx and probably figure you shit money. here in atlanta i like www.barancoacura.com they are really good here and treat me great but the one i told you about is around the same price they are here is the link to there address as well
http://www.aandhspecialist.com/index.html
hope it all works out for you whichever you choose both are great i know from personal experience
sweet, I'll check them out
yeah, exactly my point. he was taking advantage of me. the exhaust thing he played off by saying I told him to put it on.
yeah... man, you gotta be a good liar to convince me I said something I didn't.. water under the bridge.
