you need a wiring harness, mounts, injectors, ecu, alternator, starter and maybe a few other small items.

You'll also have to change out your T-bone bracket. Hmmmm if that is an obd 2 motor, then if your not going to splice the harness for your dizzy, starter and alternator on the swap, you'll have to get all obd 1 instead for it to plug and play.

inline four has the bracket for our swaps way cheaper than what a honda dealership would sell them to you for. Cause I'm bout to put in a obd 2 motor in my EJ as well and I think it's the DAs T-Bone bracket now that I think about it.

kool little swap. will it be all motor? I would reccomend building it while it's out of the car. It makes it so much easier. If ur not, o'well.

from what I know, it should drop right in. I would suggest getting new motor mounts, pref. urathane to get all the power down. The only ones that need diff mounts are the B-series.

Yea the motor is built just waiting to get my head back, it's an 00 J-Spec, and I have the mounts and all, I wont be dropping it in until I move in the next 18 days to my apartment cause the garage is hugh and I'll have enough space to do what I need to.

Question, why not build up the b7 with vitaras and rods for a nice turbo set-up? Just wondering.

i have put a d16y8 in a 95 civic dx. i used the factory harness, the brackets from the b7 motor, you can rewire the dizzy for the ckp sensor. basically if you keep the car obd1 then you would need to use the sensors from an obd1 car. when i did my swap all i had to run were the vtec wires to the ecu. i used the d15 manifold, injectors, tps. on a y8 the crank anglke sensor is on the crank pulley, previous years it was on the dizzy. i gutted a z6 dizzy and put all the interals in a y7 dizzy so it will bolt to the head. the z6 dizzy will bolt up with some mods, but fuck leaking oil. that and the bitch always came out of time til i switched the dizzy. you can pm me more details since i just did this 5 mos ago.
