Well....welcome to the Suby Family. If you have any questions about moding your car......you can pretty much ask anyone on this Subaru forum.

I wouldn't really go for a lightweight pulley. But hey that's me.

congats and welcome to the suby world. i have a crank pulley on my car . been there for 4 months or so with no problems. also for not spending any money the gut uppipe is a good mod also. 1 it keeps ya from suckin cat into your turbo. which ive done and 2 it greatly improves spool if you get a downpipe. heres some links. the first is about pulleys and there effects on your car. the second is for a guy intown that will sell and install a gutted uppie on your car for pretty cheap. the third is a pully for sale. lastly both these links are to a local suby forum you should join and say hello. i have the same screen name as here. they do install days and stuff all the time. they also have 3 people parting out there cars right now so theres alot of fairly local parts for sale at good prices!

There's other mods you can spend your money besides a pulley.

You wont make any noticable power with the lightweight pulley, and most of them dont have timing marks. So on down the road when you get an AEM or a Hydra you cant check the timing.

well its already got a pulley is why i asked. Maybee i should trade that for a stock one. Its the one in the front of the motor so i assumed thats underdrive but im not familiar with the boxer motor. Its a blue pulley. The other mods are ss brake lines, sti hood scoop, momo shift knob that everyone has, and gutted uppipe and k&n airfilter.

thanks for the great info guys. Any of yall ever have meets? i would love to meet some of yall and maybee learn some more about these cars. If any of you are going to nopi maybee we can ride down together.
