BEST BODY and PAINT SHOP in GA????

i am looking to get my del sol painted and have about 1500 to spend, wer do you guys think i should go?

For $1,500 you're not going to get neither the best body shop or paint shop.

But if you most..... I vote you give Sports and Imports a call. They take there time and do there shit right. But! You're going to be spending more then $1,500.

Good paint and labor costs. Sports and Imports isn't going to touch the car for $1500.

D&D kustoms maybe in forest park ive seen some nice cars come out of there but your budget for a nice job isnt really realistic unless your taking in a shell ive been quoted that by vinhs body shop for a full jamb and all paint job so you might want to save up a bit more if you want a really good job

go to peach autos they painted my brothers car twice first time was a perfect paint job he paid 700$ cuz he had a dent in the door and the 2nd time when he changed the color he paid 500$

Peach painted a friend's Camaro 4 times, still couldn't get a halfway decent paint job on it (runs, peels,a dn bubbles) - then told him that they weren't going to do it right. Basically told him that he was screwed. I wouldn't let them paint a work truck.

I'm pretty sure that is the right Sports and Imports. They have three shops in total. The other two are close to my shop.
This is the one that does all the cars that aren't high end cars.


But truth be told, You may be better going to sprayglo for $1,500. But just make sure you give the car a good look over before it leaves the lot. Then again, You should really do that at any body shop and not just sprayglo.

i want a nice paint job but it is my dd, so im not trying to have the nicest paint in gaor anything like that!!! i just got done doin FULL suspension and brakes last week, so im not sure right now weather i want to paint it or get a treadstone turbo kit from chadbee

How much bodywork is needed, that's where alot of the $$$ is...

not much, i was gonna put a new hood on it but everything else is easy enough to just pop it out

lolol, you don't just pop things out...

For the "best paint job" like you said you drill out the seam welds and replace the panels & reweld...whether it's a door skin or rear quarter. Then simply replace the front fenders.

If that can't be done then you fill the entire car with a thin layer sanding it back down to find all the low spots...normally done a couple times. The time spend to do that cost as much or more than replacing everything as above.

A proper repaint to change colors will cost about $3k minimum -- but doubt even 2% of the members on this board are willing to do it properly. I call them 25 foot show cars, looks good from 25 feet but just don't open the doors or hood to see the differant colors

yea i kno, i got a quote from sprayglo for everything including door jams, under hood, engine bay and trunk, but im just gonna o boost 1st so i dont fuck up a new paint job, im gonna save that for last!!!!

D&D by far but they'll probably look at you crazy for $1500. Just a picture of what they did for my G and this was done with a crappy camera
