    Default First bike. GS500.

I just bought my first bike this weekend. It's a 93 GS500. It's got clip ons, a Yoshimura exhaust, and supposidly a gsxr rear shock. It's still sitting in my garage right now until I take my MSF in a couple weeks. Anyways, I took it out of the garage to give it a wash along with the civic. I had to sell the turbo kit on the civic to pay for the bike so I hope it's worth it!

    hey man,
great starter bike. you will ride it for a few months and then want a more agressive bike (at least I did). I had a totally stock 01 that was the same color as yours. Great bikes. WHen i wanted more power, i bought a relatively modded 99 yamaha yzf600r

Good bike man. I haven't owned my own bike yet but i learned how to ride on a gixxer 750. Was my friend's but i've been hooked since. That same frie mighy be getting me the hookup on another 750 for about a grand, but its a 99 and has something like 27k miles on it. I just can't wait to get back onn 2 wheels.

Update: Passed the MSF, and have been riding for about 3 weeks now. Just checked my odometer, and realized I've ridden 500 miles already. And I just got my new tires a week ago, so 400 in the past week. It's mainly been a lot of cruising. Last night I found a couple roads with some good turns on them that I practiced on. I'm looking forward to doing a lot more riding in the future.
