lolol, temperature changes cause expansion and contraction of solids...think about the lines in concrete sidewalks or the expansion joints on bridges, they're there for a reasonOriginally Posted by kennyboi
I've poured cool water from the faucet on icy windows for years without any problems, as long as it's warmer than 32°F it will melt the ice...never once had it crack or spread a bullseye. THEN I've seen a windshield on a friends vehicle crack from a chick putting her foot up on the dash and her toe touching the glass...i didn't think she was all that hotmiddle of winter of course but still kinda freakish.
You can get a ticket for a cracked windshield and doesn't really matter the size of the crack.
$150-180 or so, you don't want to have one installed that cost much less than that. There's a few companies that will do it for $125-150 but they use the old recycled molds from other manufacturers making it a thinner and lower quality window.Originally Posted by khan351
